About

Bio

Tristan graduated in 2017 with a degree in playwriting & screenwriting from SUNY Purchase College in Purchase, NY.

Throughout their time at Purchase, they received the Outstanding Junior Award in Playwriting & Screenwriting and their first short play, "Oceans", was performed on campus in 2017 as a collaboration with the acting conservatory.

Currently, they're involved in the Chicagoland community theatre scene as a stage manager and board member for Big Noise Theatre.

Tristan also wears many hats, serving as a software developer for Warehouse Planning and Supply Chain Consulting.

Previously, Tristan has interned with Dark Catt Studios in Chicago, worked as a freelance script reader and coverage writer for Shore Scripts, and spent a lot of time making frappuccinos at Starbucks.

Now, Tristan is preparing to move to the Netherlands. With a tentative move of March 2026, they're looking forward to having more freedom by working solely as a freelancer.

In their writing, Tristan specializes in writing dramas that focus on relationships, mental health, and LGBTQ+ issues and often have supernatural aspects.

And for Fun...

Tristan has also been a paranormal investigator on-and-off for many years. Ask them about how weird our world is.  The pursuit of knowledge of the unknown drives them.

Have a ghost problem? Want to share a ghost story? Reach out. Tristan wants to hear it.
